Introduction to Firewall Builder 3.0 for the impatient.

Choose tab "Installer" in the dialog that comes up and enter directory where firewall script should be installed, the name of the account used to manage the firewall and ip address 127.0.0.1 in the field for the address used to communicate with the firewall. The directory where Firewall Builder will install firewall script should exist already; you may need to create it manually. We use root account to install and activate policy. Make sure that root login via ssh is permitted by your sshd configuration. We use loopback address because the program will manage policy of the same machine it is running on. Once done, click "OK" to save parameters.

Document Using Built-in Policy Installer in Firewall Builder explains how to use regular user account with sudo rather than root to install and activate policy.
