Firewall Builder packages for Windows and Mac OS X

Here you can download binary packages for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X. These packages work in evaluation mode for 30 days and can be unlocked with a license file. There are no restrictions or limitations in the code running in evaluation mode. When you purchase a license, we assume that you have already downloaded the product and have it installed. The license file that you receive via email after you make the purchase contains an activation code that allows you to use the software beyond the initial 30-day evaluation period.

Your purchase of the license includes 6 month of email and online support and all updates and bug fixes done to this version. You may use the software on a single workstation and manage unlimited number of firewalls with it.

If you purchased license for Firewall Builder 2.1 between July 1 and August 31 of 2008, please contact us at support@netcitadel.com to get your free upgrade to Firewall Builder 3.0.

All other registered owners of the Firewall Builder 2.1 licenses were sent email with coupon code for 50% discount off the purchase of the license for Firewall Builder 3.0. Discount is valid until August 31, 2009.

Firewall Builder 4.0 beta is available for download and testing. All purchases of the license for Firewall Builder 3.0 made after March 10, 2010, automatically qualify for upgrade to 4.0 free of charge when it is released.

Firewall Builder is distributed under dual license model.

You can get Firewall Builder Windows or Mac OS X packages for free if you do one of the following:

• If you are technical writer or blogger and are willing to write a review for your blog or a magazine, please send us a short note about yourself and a link to your blog or the magazine that will publish it and we'll send you a license, free of charge, so you can evaluate and review Firewall Builder properly.
• If you are willing to demo Firewall Builder or give a talk about it to an audience of at least 10 professionals in your field at a local professional user group, team meeting or a conference, send us information about yourself and the meeting and we'll send you three licenses, one for you and two to give away at the event, free of charge. Note from Vadim: you can send your slides stack to me for review before the event
• If you are an independent contractor and need to purchase license for one or more of your clients, please contact us and we'll send one license for yourself free of charge in addition to those you purchase for your clients.
