Firewall Builder uses QT 3.x in combination with GNU gettext tools for localization. Here are direct links to the latest versions of the .po files.
These links point directly to the web interface to the CVS reposirory on SourceForge, these are the latest files that have been checked in. If you wish to fix or update the translation, just download corresponding .po file, edit it according to the gettext rules and send it to me as an email attachment, I'll check it in to CVS. If you wish to start translation to a new language, get file fwbuilder.pot, copy it to the corresponding .po file and edit that.
A note to translators: please do this only if you have experience with gettext and related tools and procedures. I do not know this myself and rely on translators for the localization to be done right. I can not help you or verify your work. If you translate something incorrectly, your fellow users who run the program in your language will get confused or will simply laugh. I can't help it if this happens, except to remove the translation from the package.
I know translation is not easy, it is a hard and slow work. I include new translations as they become available in the follow-up releases that I make about once a month or every other month. The first official release of the new major version is usually likely to come out without localization because of this.
To give you a rough idea of the amount of work involved, here is the output from msgfmt for each language as of
rm -f de.qm && /usr/bin/msgfmt -c --qt --statistics -o de.qm de.po
950 translated messages, 214 fuzzy translations, 213 untranslated messages.
rm -f es.qm && /usr/bin/msgfmt -c --qt --statistics -o es.qm es.po
788 translated messages, 200 fuzzy translations, 389 untranslated messages.
rm -f fr.qm && /usr/bin/msgfmt -c --qt --statistics -o fr.qm fr.po
322 translated messages, 205 fuzzy translations, 850 untranslated messages.
rm -f ja.qm && /usr/bin/msgfmt -c --qt --statistics -o ja.qm ja.po
672 translated messages, 210 fuzzy translations, 495 untranslated messages.
rm -f sv.qm && /usr/bin/msgfmt -c --qt --statistics -o sv.qm sv.po
883 translated messages, 187 fuzzy translations, 307 untranslated messages.
rm -f ru.qm && /usr/bin/msgfmt -c --qt --statistics -o ru.qm ru.po
69 translated messages, 89 fuzzy translations, 1219 untranslated messages.
