Firewall Builder Licensing

New Firewall Builder License Model

Firewall Builder is now available under "dual licensing" model. Under this model, users may choose between packages distributed under the GNU Public License (commonly known as GPL) or under commercial license. Packages for Linux (any distribution available under the terms of GPL), FreeBSD or any other operating system or distribution available under the terms of GPL are also available under GPL. The complete source code archives are provided on the downloads page and build instructions are published on the web site. Please note that Firewall Builder GUI is based on QT and therefore requires QT run time libraries and development packages if you wish to build from source. Refer to the QT licensing pages on http://www.trolltech.com for their licensing terms.

Packages of Firewall Builder for commerical OS are distributed under the terms of NetCitadel End User License Agreement.
