Firewall Builder packages for Windows and Mac OS X

Here you can download binary packages for Windows XP, Windows Vista and Mac OS X. These packages work in evaluation mode for 30 days and can be unlocked with a license file. There are no restrictions or limitations in the code running in evaluation mode. When you purchase a license, we assume that you have already downloaded the product and have it installed. The license file that you receive via email after you make the purchase contains an activation code that allows you to use the software beyond the initial 30-day evaluation period.

Version 4.1.2 is an update of v4.0 and v4.1 which have been running in production environments since May 2010.

Always make sure to make a backup copy of the data (.fwb) file before you upgrade. If you open the data file in Firewall Builder 4, it will be upgraded and will not work in the older versions of the program. Always make a backup copy of the data file. Please open bug reports or send email if you find problems with the new version, we will do our best to turn around quickly and fix them. The page Support explains how to report bugs and contact us.

Your purchase of the license includes 12 months of email and online support and all updates and bug fixes done to this version. You may use the software on a single workstation and manage up to the number of firewalls your license allows.

If you purchase license for Firewall Builder 3.0 after March 10, 2010 (the day public beta testing of Firewall Builder 4.0 starts) please contact us at support@netcitadel.com to get your free upgrade to Firewall Builder 4.0.
